Audio Visual Capabilities

Each boardroom at the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre is fully equipped with advanced audio and visual technology, to meet our clients’ technical needs. Our Centre can facilitate meetings between groups and individuals - domestic and international - through the use of the state-of-the-art boardrooms, utilizing the latest videoconferencing and teleconferencing technology. Multimedia presentations are enhanced with complete wireless internet access throughout the Centre via a 100 megabyte fibre optic connection.
Audio Visual Capabilities

Videoconferencing

Videoconferencing is an advanced technology which allows clients to connect with two or more locations and interact via two-way video and audio transmissions silultaneously. There are two ways in which we can connect to the locations- ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) and IP (Internet Protocol) ISDN is a set of telephone lines carrying voice, digital network services and video. If the client is connecting to 2 or more sites our consultants prefer to conduct a test prior to the event to make sure the videoconference runs smoothly. If you are interested in hosting a videoconference, please indicate on your reservation request form and one of our Video Conferencing Consultants will contact you to discuss your videoconferencing options and related costs.

Teleconferencing

Teleconferencing is an audio or audio-visual meeting between geographically separated parties linked by telecommunication networks such as telephones or internet. All boardrooms at the Centre offer either full featured or portable teleconferencing systems. To utilize our teleconferencing system clients must have a conference code and an id password to connect with their intended receiver. The Centre does not incur any costs for teleconferencing use.

Skype

The Centre currently does not have a Skype account. However, clients are welcome to bring their own laptops and connect to Skype using their own Skype accounts.

Connecting you with Catering Services

Should you require catering services for your meeting or event, please identify on the reservation request form, and our Client Service Coordinators will be happy to provide you with recommendations for caterers in the Toronto area. By working with you to meet your food and service requests, the catering company will assist you in creating a smooth running, worry free experience that is a pleasure to both attend and host.

Room Enhancements

In addition to providing audio and visual equipment, the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre will provide select room enhancements to accommodate your meeting or event. The Centre does offer table linens, available in black, white and red, extra tables and chairs, table china (cups, dinner and dessert plates) and stemware at your disposal. If you wish to further personalize your event space, you are able to order flowers and extra rentals. Please identify this need in your reservation request form and we will be happy to make recommendations for florists and rental companies in the area.
